X, „Country Hotel Contemporary“, 2017, temporary exhibition project, Dernbach, Germany

 

Durch zwei Skybeamer werden die Flanken des leerstehenden Hotels im Westerwald optisch verlängert. Durch diese Akzentuierung ergibt sich ein großes x-förmiges Lichtzeichen, das sich klar vom Nachthimmel weithin sichtbar abhebt. Die Architektur in ihrer Pyramidenform wird unterstrichen und spiegelt sich bis in die Unendlichkeit. Es entstand eine gleichnamige Edition.

Two sky beamers optically extend the flanks of the empty hotel in the Westerwald. This accentuation results in a large x-shaped light signal that clearly stands out from the night sky and is visible from afar. The architecture in its pyramid shape is underlined and reflected to infinity. An edition of the same name was created.
